The SDUHSD School Board decides to reopen schools as Coronavirus cases are peaking in San Diego, while mandating teachers to return to in-person learning (regardless of whether they want to or not). Students meet outside of the Board meeting to express their concerns.

Student Protest #2

The San Dieguito Faculty Association files a litigation stating that they are against reopening. During a special School Board meeting that discusses the litigation, another student-led protest takes places outside. In a second special School Board meeting, the Board ratifies a settlement agreement and decides to continue with online learning until the end of January.
